CARSON CITY — Gov. Brian Sandoval advised a huge audience, including dozens of Republican and Democrat state legislators, who attended the late Sen. Bill Raggio's funeral in Reno last Monday to "follow his (Raggio's) example," by cutting out the partisanship and working on compromises that benefit the state.
Later in the week, Republican Sandoval followed his own advice. He gave an autographed lithograph of the governor's mansion to the Democrat Women's Club of Carson City. The lithograph will be raffled off by the Democrat Club on March 17. Funds raised will go to a deserving female student to attend Western Nevada College.
