QB Clayton running with starters

Omar Clayton took snaps with the first-team offense today for the second day in a row, though no announcement was made whether he or Mike Clausen will start at quarterback when UNLV plays at No. 20 Utah on Saturday.

“(Clayton’s) certainly going to play, as is Mike, so we’ll see where that goes,” Rebels coach Bobby Hauck said. “He did a good job today.”

Clausen started Saturday’s 41-21 season-opening loss to Wisconsin, and Clayton played the final quarter and a half. Hauck has said the starter for the game at Utah will not be announced before game day.
