ENTERTAINMENT: Lance Burton news coming Tuesday

  Lance Burton publicist Wayne Bernath says there will be a news conference at 3 p.m. Tuesday to announce the magician’s future.
  Because the news conference is in the Monte Carlo’s Brand Steakhouse, it’s reasonable to assume the news won’t be that he’s leaving the Monte Carlo, his home since the hotel opened in 1996.

  Burton’s show has been closed because he broke his foot. It might reopen July 7, the first date you can buy tickets on the Monte Carlo’s Web site.
