Man fatally shot inside vehicle in central valley early Saturday morning
A man was shot and killed inside a vehicle in Spring Valley early Saturday morning, according to a Metro news release.
Police responded about 2:15 a.m. to a parking lot in the 4300 block of South Jones Boulevard, near West Rochelle Ave., to investigate reports of a person being shot inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to detectives, the man, who was the driver of the vehicle, was shot by a passenger as he was parking his car.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, the release said.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
