Man identified in fatal Central Las Vegas shooting

The Clark County coroner’s office has identified one of the men killed in a shooting Wednesday.

Humberto Manual Ocegueda-Ramos, 19, was shot after an altercation that may have started at a Union 76 station on the corner of Owens Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Ocegueda-Ramos was with another male victim when they were involved in a confrontation with at least two unknown suspects. Ocegueda-Ramos and the other victim left in their vehicles and were followed by the suspects to the area of Mezpah Street and Washington Avenue when the suspects fired shots from the driver’s side of the vehicle and shot each in the head. The suspects then fled the scene, Metro said.

The two were taken to University Medical Center and died. The shooting may be narcotics related, according to police.

The identity of the other victim will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
