SLS Las Vegas prepares for grand opening

SLS Las Vegas, the former Sahara Hotel and Casino, opens to the public after a Friday V.I.P. party and fireworks.

Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora will perform at the pool for the V.I.P event.

The grand opening for the SLS Las Vegas comes after a $415 million renovation of the hotel and casino where the famous lounge era exploded in the late 1950s.

Sharon Stone and Lenny Kravitz are among the celebrities expected on the red carpet.

The Sahara was once the tallest building on the Las Vegas Strip.
