Eastside Cannery hosts $35,000 slot tournament


The Eastside Cannery is running a free $35,000 November Rain Slot Tournament from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday through Nov. 9. All C.A.N Club members receive one daily entry. At the end of each day of play, the top five scorers win $100-$500 in cash and (along with the next five scorers) will advance to the finals at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9. The 27 final prizes include $100-$10,000 cash, plus all tournament participants will be automatically entered into a drawing awarding 51 players $50-$1,000. Winners need not be present at the drawing, but must claim their prizes by midnight.

Beginning Saturday and continuing 1-8 p.m.on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in November, the Silverton will randomly award $100 every five minutes to a carded player. On Mondays through Wednesdays, members earning 250 Discovery Club points ($250 coin-in; no point redemption required) receive a hat and those earning 1,000 points get a jacket.

South Point players can pick up almost everything they need for their upcoming turkey feast by earning points from noon Sunday to noon Thursday each week in November. Players earning 500 points ($500 coin-in; no point redemption required) Sunday through Thursday receive a turkey platter, gravy boat and salt and pepper shakers. Those earning 500 points from Nov. 9-13 get an electric carving knife, and those earning 500 points from Nov. 16-20 get a 16-18 pound turkey. On the last week of the month, Nov. 23-27, 500-point earners receive an electric multi-cooker.

From 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday, the Sahara is running a free $500 slot tournament. All new and existing Club Sahara members receive a free entry.

Arizona Charlie's Boulder is running a special bingo bonus ball on all sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in November. Players hitting bingo when the special bonus ball is called will split an $888 bonus.

Several Harrah's Las Vegas properties (including Harrah's, Rio, Bally's, Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Imperial Palace and the Flamingo Las Vegas) have extended their "Play $100 on Us" new membership promotion to the end of 2008. All new Total Rewards members (including Las Vegas residents) will have their first day's losses (up to $100) reimbursed to them. The reimbursement is paid via a cash voucher mailed to your home approximately 60 days after your first day of play.
