New Club Coast soon will cover more Boyd casinos

The new Club Coast is here! Members now can earn and redeem points at Gold Coast, Orleans, Suncoast and Sam's Town. According to management, the card soon will cover other Boyd casinos including the Fremont, California, Main Street Station as well as their riverboat properties. Club Coast members earn one point for every dollar coin-in (except on a few 100 percent optimal return video poker games that require $2 to earn a point). Points can be redeemed for either comps (600 points equal $1) or cash (1,000 points equal $1).

The new Club Coast has three tiers. All new members receive a ruby level card. Those earning 20,000 base points within 90 days graduate to sapphire and earn double points every day (for at least six months). Members earning 125,000 base points in 90 days receive an emerald card and earn triple points as well as a host of other benefits that are spelled out in the club's brochure.

According to management, unredeemed Sam's Town Prime Rewards points have been combined into Club Coast accounts, and initial tier cards will be issued based on a player's combined 90-day action.

Throughout January, Sunset Station is offering bingo players a "Mystery Session Grab Bag Giveaway" at all Tuesday and Thursday sessions. At all sessions this month, the casino is awarding a free blue pack to everyone sitting at the table of single game winners.

On Saturday, the Cannery will give a free gift to all players earning just one point ($1 coin-in).

South Point players earning 100 same-day points ($100 coin-in; no point redemption required) Tuesday through Thursday can pick up a 10-inch apple pie. After earning their points, players swipe their card at any kiosk to pick up a pie ticket which then can be redeemed at the booth. There is a limit of one pie per player per day, while supplies last.

Earn 250 More Club points (1,000 coin-in; no point redemption required) at Jerry's Nugget on Sundays or Mondays this month and receive a $10 gift card from Lowe's, Circuit City or Bed, Bath and Beyond.
