Plaza rewards new club members; Hard Rock giving away cash

New Plaza Players Club members earning 250 points ($250 coin-in; no point redemption required) within 24 hours after enrollment will receive a free T-shirt or $10 in free slot play. Those earning 500 points get a breakfast or lunch buffet, a duffle bag or $20 in free slot play. For 1,500 points earned in 24 hours, new Plaza Players Club members will receive two dinner buffets, a bathrobe or $50 free slot play. And those who manage to earn 2,500 points in their first 24 hours of membership will get a $50 dining certificate, a logo jacket or $100 of free slot play.

At 8 p.m. daily this Sunday through Thursday, the Hard Rock Hotel will give away $888 in cash. Players receive one entry for every 88 Rockstar points earned ($88 coin-in on slots, $176 coin-in video poker).

The Orleans is giving away a George Foreman Grill this Sunday through Aug. 28 to all players earning 1,500 points ($1,500-$3,000 coin-in; no point redemption required). There is a limit of one grill per player.

At 8 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 29, the Western will select 10 players to compete in a slot tournament and win $50-$500. Throughout the prior week, players receive a drawing entry with every $100-plus jackpot.

All Gold Coast players earning 250 points ($250-$500 coin-in; no point redemption required) on Monday and Aug. 31 will receive a buffet. The casino also is offering a special gift to all players earning 400 points this Sunday. On Wednesday, all seniors (55-plus) will receive a buffet after earning 200 points.
