This tropically themed resort and casino opened its doors in 1999. Owned and operated by MGM Mirage.

Rooms: 3,220 newly remodeled rooms

In-room Amenities: hair dryer, iron/ironing board, two phone lines with dataports, wireless internet connection, separate soaking tub and shower; suites also have wet bar, refrigerator and spa tub

Casino: race & sports book, table games, slot machines and video poker

Dining: Aureole, Trattoria Del Lupo, China Grill, Shanghai Lilly, rumjungle, House of Blues, Border Grill, Red Square, The Noodle Shop, Red, White and Blue, STRIPSTEAK, Fleur De Lys, Mix, Raffles, Bay Side Buffet

Entertainment: Mandalay Bay Theater (1,600 seats), "Mamma Mia!". House of Blues (1,800 capacity), concerts, headliners and local entertainers; entertainment in Courtyard and Sunday Gospel Brunch in Music Hall. Mandalay Bay Events Center (12,000 seats), concerts, major sporting events, television specials. Lounges: Orchid Lounge, Island Lounge, Coral Reef Lounge.
