Marvin Pascua, 18, has graduated from Naval Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. He plans to attend submarine and electronic technician training in Groton, Conn.

A graduate of Centennial High School, Pascua is the son of Marlon Pascua and Grace Pascua.

Anne Freman and Alexandra Kaui have been named honorable mention Rolex Junior All-Americans by the American Junior Golf Association.

Freman, 17, a senior at Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School, won her first AJGA victory this year at the Bass Pro Shops/Payne Stewart Junior Championship. She advanced to the round of 16 at the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship and has verbally committed to Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, Calif.

Kaui, 16, a senior at Green Valley High School, earned honorable mention Rolex Junior All-American honors for the second year in a row. Her season included five top-10 performances, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Matt Snodgrass Las Vegas Junior and a tie for ninth at the Rolex Tournament of Champions. She has two career AJGA victories and has verbally committed to the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.

Conner Grant of Las Vegas participated in the Summer Transition, Advising and Registration program at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.

The program allows new undergraduate students to receive academic advice and create their initial course schedule.

Cameron Geiger has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

A 2009 graduate of Bonanza High School, Geiger is the son of Mike and Angela Geiger of Las Vegas.

Timothy Gonzales has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

A 2009 graduate of Southeast Career Technical Academy, he is the son of Ramil Columna of Henderson.

Kevin Luu of Las Vegas has received a Bachelor of Music in Electronic Production and Design and Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Justin Daly has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

A 2009 graduate of Advanced Technologies Academy, Daly is the son of Renee May of Las Vegas.

Seth Jaeger has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. He earned distinction as an honor graduate.

A 2011 graduate of Mojave High School, Jaeger is the son of Ronald Jaeger of North Las Vegas.
