Woman sought in pit bull attack
REVIEW-JOURNAL
Authorities investigating a pit bull attack on a 7-year-old boy believe they may have identified the dogs' prior residence and possible owner.
Investigators want to speak to a woman named Mickey Williams about both pit bulls, North Las Vegas police spokesman Mark Martin said.
The pit bulls were captured and quarantined Sunday at the Dewey Animal Care Center after an attack that fractured Austin Bechtel's skull. The attack occurred in the 400 block of Villa Espana Drive.
No decision has been made about whether to euthanize the dogs.
Bechtel was listed in serious condition Thursday at University Medical Center after surgery to remove bone fragments from his brain.
