A Monday shooting in the southwest valley sent one person to the hospital with four gunshot wounds, police said.
Investigators are still looking into what led to the shooting, Las Vegas police Lt. Dave Valenta said.
Officers arrived at Tropicana Avenue and Decatur Boulevard about 5 p.m. and found two people in a rental car at the southwest corner of the intersection. The passenger had been shot four times. Neither of the car’s occupants wanted to talk about what happened, Valenta said.
The passenger was taken to University Medical Center and police said his condition was not critical.
Police found shell casings on the street in the 5900 block of Tropicana Avenue and believe they may be related to the shooting.
