Police seek suspect in southwest valley home invasion

Las Vegas police are seeking the public's help in identifying the male suspect in a Jan. 15 home invasion near Sahara Avenue and Rampart Boulevard.

According to police reports, a white male broke into the home of an elderly couple about 7 p.m., attacked and injured an occupant and fled through a window carrying stolen goods.

Police described the suspect as a white male with brown hair and a skinny build. He is between the ages of 18 and 25, and stands between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10-inches tall. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Metropolitan Police Department's Robbery Section at 828-3591. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. Tips that directly lead to an arrest or indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
