Police seek suspect in Sunday night shooting


Las Vegas police are investigating a Sunday night shooting that left a 25-year-old man dead in the central valley.

Police found the body in a parking lot on the 900 block of Twain Avenue, near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road. A call came in about shots fired in the area at 10:20 p.m. 

Officer Marcus Martin described a possible suspect as a black male between 27 to 31 and about 280 pounds with a large Afro and a beard. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.

A white four-door car with Nevada license plates and a broken window covered in a blue material is believed to be connected to the shooting.

The Clark County coroner has not yet identified the victim.
