Bicyclist Las Vegas police needed help identifying has died

A bicyclist whom Las Vegas police needed help identifying after he was struck near Bonanza Road and Nellis Boulevard has died.

He is Tiger Luis Williams, 16, of Las Vegas, the Clark County coroner’s office said Tuesday. He died on Friday.

Police said Williams, who was riding a silver BMX-style bicycle Thursday, was hit by a 2006 Ford Fusion headed east on Bonanza, near Prescott Street. The boy was crossing Bonanza in a marked crosswalk.

He was taken to University Medical Center where he died the next day.

The driver of the Ford, a 24-year-old man, had minor injuries.
