Missing hiker found, has minor injuries

Las Vegas police located a hiker who went missing Tuesday on Mount Charleston.

The 47-year-old woman was found 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, a day after she had disappeared near a trail close to the Old Mill Picnic Area in Lee Canyon. She has minor injuries and was found by a volunteer who was searching the area on foot.

The woman was located about a mile from where she left the trail while hiking with two other adults and a child in difficult terrain.
