North Las Vegas motorcyclist dies after Tuesday accident

The man who died in the motorcycle accident in North Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Donald Joseph Reed, 58, of North Las Vegas.

Nevada Highway Patrol received a call just before 3:30 p.m. to the Lake Mead Boulevard on-ramp to northbound Interstate 15. Trooper Jeremie Elliott said Reed crashed the motorcycle into a dirt area. Reed died at University Medical Center. The specific cause of death is unknown at this time.
