Man killed in Friday accident in North Las Vegas identified

A man who was killed in a traffic accident Friday on Craig Road just east of Martin Luther King Boulevard has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s office.

James Williams, 53, of Las Vegas, died of multiple blunt force trauma.

Williams, driving a Ford sedan, was turning onto Home Depot Drive about 5:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind by a Hyundai SUV driven by 27-year-old Courtney Hildinger. Williams then hit a light pole, according to North Las Vegas police. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
