Knight’s reality show ‘Unfinished’

Death Row Records mogul Marion "Suge" Knight is stepping away from music "for now" and eyeing an acting career.

In a rare interview, Knight said he's going to stay on the sidelines until he gets a sense which way the music industry is going.

The 300-pound Knight, a football standout at UNLV before creating hip-hop superstars Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, said he's more interested in "acting or coaching football."

He's already shot a TV reality show based on his hometown of Compton, Calif., and the rough neighborhoods in South Central L.A., Knight said during a chat Saturday in the MGM Grand Garden arena after the Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather Jr. title fight.

Knight, who served a prison term for attempted murder and recently had a $106 million judgment against Death Row, was friendly until I asked him the name of his reality show.

" 'Unfinished Business,' " he said.

"That sounds ominous," I said.

Dumb question. Really dumb question.

End of interview. Knight, who was not happy with the outcome of the fight, turned away without a word and left.

HASSELHOFF INTERVIEW

The syndicated entertainment TV show "Access Hollywood" has been teasing Alicia Jacobs' recent sit-down with David Hasselhoff as "his most revealing interview."

Jacobs, entertainment reporter for KVBC-TV, Channel 3, interviewed Hasselhoff two weeks ago, about the time the infamous video was filmed by The Hoff's 16-year-old daughter, Taylor Ann.

In the interview, which took place in "The Producers" dressing room, Hasselhoff discusses his substance abuse, divorce and his love of his daughters.

The show airs at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. today on KVBC.

The announcement that Charles Barkley was in the house got one of the biggest roars Saturday at the De La Hoya-Mayweather fight Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden. But Sir Charles was actually in a studio in Atlanta, as an NBA analyst.

Also along was Warren Rosegreen, former UNLV basketball player and Harlem Globetrotter, who showed his globetrotting moves to the delight of chef Susan Rispoli's 4-year-old grandson, Nathaniel. ... Mario Diaz, former weekend sports anchor at KTNV-TV, Channel 13, in town for the big fight. Since age 19, he's been HBO's Spanish language boxing announcer. Diaz moved to news anchor at WTSP-TV in Tampa after a year as a sports anchor. ... Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, walking off without tipping after buying a round at The Venetian's center bar on Saturday night. ...
