HAUSER, GERALD
GERALD HAUSER 60-year Nevada resident, Gerald "Jerry" Dennis Hauser, passed away in his sleep Jan. 5, 2009. He was 62 years old. Born April 5, 1946, in Inyokern, Calif., Jerry spent the majority of his life here in Las Vegas, and attended Western High School. He then went on to receive his bachelor's degree in political science. Jerry was an agent with Farmers Insurance for over 30 years, and after his retirement from Farmers, he spent time working at Bass Pro Shops selling outdoor powersports equipment. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also a very talented woodturner. Jerry was a dedicated father to his daughter, Denise, and proud grandfather of four, whose greatest love in life was his family. He will be deeply missed. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Horace Hauser; and his mother, Catherine Blanche Mangan. He is survived by his daughter, Denise; grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Daphne, and Genevie; and his sister, Linnette. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at the LDS Church, 3200 Mustang St. (Cheyenne and Jones). Graveside services will follow at Palm Memorial Park Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. (at I-215). In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the American Heart Association.
