Mob Museum hosting discussion on firearm background checks ballot initiative

The Mob Museum is hosting a town hall-style discussion on Question 1, a ballot initiative proposing to expand firearm background checks to private-party sales and transfers, on Sept. 29.
Speakers for the event, at 7 p.m. at the Mob Museum, 300 Stewart Ave., include representatives from campaigns on both sides of the issues, local politicians and a UNLV criminologist.
