Couple choose Lennar’s Hampton Glen within Providence master plan

Hector Miguel, a local Realtor, and his wife, Elisa, ended their search for a home by purchasing at Lennar's Hampton Glen, located in the Providence master-planned community in the northwestern Las Vegas Valley.

"In showing the various Lennar neighborhoods, working with my clients and the Lennar staff through the entire home-buying process, I was able to experience firsthand Lennar's commitment to quality and service," he said.

The community features four two-story designs, all with covered porch entry and two-car garage.

Prices start in the $300,000s.

The Miguels chose the 1,795-square-foot Easton floor plan, which includes four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

"Elisa, my wife, is pretty picky," Hector Miguel noted. "She walked into the Easton model, looked at it and looked at me and said, 'This is the one I want.' So that is a ringing endorsement in my ears."

The main floor features a den/study area. Bedrooms and the laundry room are located on the second floor.

"There is no wasted space," Elisa Miguel said. "The kitchen is bright and airy. I like that the living room, dining room and kitchen share one open, uncluttered living area."

The 1,660-square-foot Sutton offers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and an open great-room design.

The 1,823-square-foot Westport includes a rear patio and balcony off the great room. A mid-level entry foyer with windows highlights the home's split-level design.

The Kingsbury measures 2,161 square feet and contains three bedrooms, a bonus room, two full baths plus a powder room with shower.

A patio extends the full width of the home. The great-room design includes a formal dining room and an alcove next to the staircase.

Hampton Glen and other Lennar neighborhoods at Providence are Energy Star-certified.

Additional Lennar neighborhoods at Providence are Arbor Ridge, Barrington and Westminster.

When complete, the 1,200-acre Providence master plan will include tree-lined promenades, community parks with soccer and baseball fields, tennis and volleyball courts and a children's playground.

In addition to the existing nearby high schools, land has been earmarked for two elementary schools and one middle school.

Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when they are open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To visit Hampton Glen, take the Hualapai Way exit north from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, turn west on Elkhorn Road to Egan Crest Drive, then north on Egan Crest to Severance Lane, west on Severance to the Welcome Home Center.
