The Estates at Southern Highlands to present new luxury neighborhood

The Estates at Southern Highlands in the southern portion of the Las Vegas Valley is presenting a new neighborhood, Augusta Canyon, within the enclave-community.

Augusta Canyon will encompass 100 estate lots along the western ridges of the Southern Highlands Golf Club.

The new neighborhood will feature custom home sites ranging from one-half acre to more than two acres.

Priced from the $600,000s to more than $1 million, these upscale golf lots will be located at the 14th fairway and offer views of the city, nearby mountain ranges and the golf course.

With almost 200 feet of elevation variance from its highest lot, the gated neighborhood will include a variety of sites, from flat padded to split padded and natural hillside parcels.

In addition to its golf course location, the neighborhood will be anchored by Park Paseo, a landscaped private park featuring a paver trail, park benches and a gazebo.

The park area also provides private access from select park frontage lots.

"We also anticipate future releases further up the hillsides," said Mitch McClellan, president of Southern Highlands Realty.

The Estates of Southern Highlands has been rated as one of the finest golf communities in America by Golfweek.

It features The Spa of Southern Highlands, with a 25-meter lap pool, private cabanas, separate children's swimming pool and fun play area, outdoor Jacuzzi, full workout facilities, spa treatments and tennis courts.

The community features the Southern Highlands Golf Club, an invitation-only club ranked as The Best New Private Golf Club in the Western United States, 2001 by Golf Digest, and a private park.

To visit Augusta Canyon at The Estates of Southern Highlands, drive south on Interstate 15 and exit west onto St. Rose Parkway.
