Silver Creek offers five designs

Lennar's Silver Creek is a private, gated enclave of 20 properties in the northwestern valley. Home sites in the neighborhood measure from one-third of an acre to half an acre and offer views of the Spring Mountains.

The builder has completed construction of the residences, so visitors can visit actual homes instead of models. Prices start from the $500,000s.

Each home was matched to a specific site to blend into the landscape, sales agent Marilyn Valdez said.

"It was important to us to create a harmony between the site and the home's dimensions and character," Valdez said. "We wanted to preserve the integrity of the community for the benefit of all the residents."

The neighborhood presents five two-story designs that measure from 4,401 to 5,000 square feet with up to five bedrooms and 41/2 baths. All designs have three-car garages with the exception of Morro Bay, which offers a four-car garage.

Home interiors include upgraded appliances such as the refrigerator, 42-inch-tall cabinetry with crown molding, slab-granite kitchen countertops, upgraded flooring and a washer and dryer, Valdez said.

"Everything is preselected and custom coordinated for a professional finished look," Valdez said. "Our homeowners love the attention to detail. It's rather like having a professional interior decorator without the cost, because everything is included in the home's price."

Design elements include formal and informal living spaces, formal dining rooms, media rooms, master retreats and kitchens with maple cabinetry, crown molding, upgraded appliances and breakfast nooks accented with bay windows.

The Morro Bay residence measures 4,484 square feet. The main floor presents a formal living room with 19-foot ceilings and a formal dining room accented by a decorative archway and columns.

A study is located off the formal foyer, while a curving staircase rises to the second floor.

The kitchen bisects the living areas and opens into a family room. It features an island, walk-in pantry and informal dining nook with bay windows. A French door opens to a covered patio.

The main floor also includes a guest powder room, full bedroom and bath and a laundry room that opens to the four-car garage.

The second floor is dominated by the master suite. The suite includes the master bedroom and a retreat with media niche.

The adjoining master bath offers dual counters and sinks, vanity, separate shower and garden tub and an oversize walk-in wardrobe. There is also a master suite veranda. A second den/study is also featured.

The Turtle Bay offers 5,000 square feet with five bedrooms and 31/2 baths. The master suite is located on the main floor with the home's library located on the second floor overlooking the suite. A staircase leads from the suite to the library.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 north to Ann Road, exit east on Ann to Jones Boulevard. Drive north on Jones (crossing Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway). Turn west on Rome Boulevard, proceed to Torrey Pines Drive and follow signs to the entrance.

The sales office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when it closes at 3 p.m. For more information, call 258-7331.
