Individuals who purchase a new home in Summerlin during May will receive a $500 Las Vegas Design Center gift card and one hour of complimentary design consultation as part of a monthlong promotion, Summerlin Welcome Home.
Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center Las Vegas is a home furnishings and design resource with more than 40 showrooms that cater to both the industry and the public. New homebuyers will receive their gift cards upon close of escrow.
Welcome Home Summerlin also includes a variety of homebuilder incentives, which vary per neighborhood. Sample incentives include as much as $10,000 toward custom granite kitchen countertops and 17-by-17-inch ceramic tile flooring. According to Peggy Chandler, senior vice president of community development for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin, the added incentives are designed to help new homebuyers style their home.
"We want them to have fun," Chandler said. "Moving into a new home is exciting. The Las Vegas Design Center gift card will allow new homeowners to enjoy the opportunity to customize their furnishings to suit their lifestyle and personality."
More than 65 new-home floor plans are currently selling in Summerlin, offering a range of options for prospective homebuyers. New-home style options include townhomes, luxury midrise condominiums, and one- and two-story single-family homes. Floor plans range from 1,450 to nearly 4,000 square feet. Prices range from $150,000 to more than $1 million.
Neighborhoods participating in Summerlin Welcome Home include Adelina by KB Home, Amado Ridge and Amado Crest by Richmond American Homes, Andalusia by Woodside Homes and Lennar, Barcelona by Toll Brothers, Ladera Terrace by Lennar, Mira Villa by Condo Capital Solutions, Terraza Amado and Ventana Amado by Pulte Homes, Traccia by Toll Brothers, Villa Trieste by Pulte Homes and West Park Courtyards and West Park Villas by William Lyon Homes.
The 14 participating neighborhoods are located in four Summerlin villages: The Mesa, Summerlin Centre West, The Canyons and The Paseos. Each village features its own unique architectural influences and neighborhood amenities.
