Woodside to debut Palo Vista today; event to provide food, entertainment

Woodside Homes plans to unveil its newest interpretation of its Life-Inspired Design today at the grand opening of Palo Vista, a collection of single-family homes located off Interstate 15 at the southern gateway to Las Vegas.

Highlighting the event will be the debut of three decorated model homes.

The celebration also will include food, music and entertainment from noon-3 p.m.

The grand opening spotlight will shine on Palo Vista's models, which showcase a trio of distinctive two-story floor plans ranging from 1,454 to 1,883 square feet, including as many as four bedrooms and as many as three baths.

Prices start in the mid-$100,000s.

All three designs are enhanced by great rooms and gourmet kitchens, featuring granite countertops, birch wood cabinets, pantries, stainless steel sinks and black or white GE appliances.

Handy food-preparation kitchen islands are offered in the two largest floor plans.

In addition select home designs provide the versatility of a loft or den that may be selected as an optional extra bedroom.

Master baths sport walk-in closets, adult-height vanities and separate tub and shower in most plans.

Spanish Colonial, craftsman and prairie ranch-inspired architecture gives every home a look of classic distinction, which is accented by embossed insulated steel roll-up doors enclosing two-car attached garages.

Reducing water usage and minimizing maintenance, front yards are finished with drought-tolerant landscaping with automatic irrigation.

Palo Vista residents have access to the nearby Strip, as well as scenic recreation at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

To join in the grand opening celebration at Woodside Homes' Palo Vista, exit I-15 at Blue Diamond Road and go west to Buffalo Drive. Turn left and follow the signs.
