He gave up four hits and walked three. … Five Las Vegas pitchers totaled 13 strikeouts. … Mike Baxter hit a solo homer in the fifth for Las Vegas, his second since the Mets demoted him June 10. … The 51s scored two runs on one hit in the second inning when Francisco Pena was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Brandon Hicks had a sacrifice fly. … Last-minute starter Rylan Sandoval doubled twice and drove in a run. He replaced third baseman Zach Lutz, who was recalled by the Mets to replace injured Lucas Duda. … Lutz batted .286 with seven homers and 37 RBIs for the 51s.
