Race 2 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Skyspy - Huge rider switch to Joe Talamo for the money shot; like the cutback in distance where he should be finishing late.

4 Run’n On Residuals - Tepid chalk in another open race; ran like a short horse in last off a 6-month layoff.

Long Shot - 6 Blake

Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

9 Miranda Rose - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; has speed, but keeps quitting late.

Long Shot - 8 Journey On

Race 4 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

6 Blue Tone - Ran a huge second to Say Ow in last; repeat effort would likely beat these.

2 Smokin’ Bernie - Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry, so caveat emptor; his debut was good, his last race not so good.

Long Shot - 7 Corinthian’s Song

Race 5 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $32,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Long Shot - 8 Sleep Tight

Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

3 Proven Warrior - Has run 2 monster races, but only two seconds to show for it; hope it’s not the herd mentality setting in.

Long Shot - 1 Justa Runner

Race 7 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $54,00, Cal-breds, Optional claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Toledo Eddie - Showed improvement in second race off the claim by Craig Dollase; tactical speed to sit a nice trip.

Long Shot - 3 Turn On the Pumps

Race 8 - 5 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

5 Larocco - Toughest race on the card is in the finale; your edge is seeing the odds on the many FTS.

3 Silver N Sassy - This filly was at least protected in her first two starts; first race for a price tag can be a good one.

Long Shot - 1 She’s Holy
