Las Vegas Coyotes
The Las Vegas Coyotes Baseball Club is looking for a few select players for their 10- and 12-year-old teams.
The Coyotes play baseball year-round in local leagues and tournaments throughout the southwest.

BIG LEAGUE DREAMS SOFTBALL AND SOCCER
The new sports park is forming softball and indoor soccer leagues at its location on the east side of Freedom Park.
Teams play $100 per team, plus $25 per player, which includes regular season, postseason, softballs and umpires.
The facility is also registering indoor soccer teams. The cost is $100 per team, plus $25 per player, which includes nine games, playoffs and referees.

BASKETBALL
Tarkanian Basketball Academy
Spring Break Advanced Skills Camp
An advanced skills development camp will be conducted by Charles Williams of CWilliams Athletics. The camp is for boys and girls in grades 4 through 12 and will be held March 29 through 31.
It will run from 8 a.m. until noon each day at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy and cost $95.
The camp will consist of ball-handling, shooting, passing, defense and conditioning.
This is an advanced skills camp and is not meant for the beginning player.
Charles Williams is a former player at the University of Cincinnati when they were top-ranked under Coach Bob Huggins.
He is currently a high school coach in Cincinnati as well as an AAU coach and a certified fitness trainer. He has trained athletes of all ages and skill levels including professionals.

The SNBA is accepting registrations for its upcoming adult basketball leagues.
The leagues are open to men, women, and high school-aged players.
You may register as an individual or as part of a team.

GOLF
Women’s SNGA
Senior Amateur Championship
The Women’s Southern Nevada Golf Association’s Senior Amateur Championship will be played May 3 and 4 at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The format is 36-hole stroke play, and limited to the first 60 paid entries.
A $110 entry fee includes golf, cart, range balls, awards luncheon and prizes.
The tournament is open to women at least 50 years of age as of May 3, with a verifiable Southern Nevada issued handicap. There is no handicap index limit, however, the maximum handicap strokes will be 36.
Players will be flighted by age, but first place gross and net may come from any flight.
Prize fund will pay at least 1/3 of each flight. Entries must be received by April 16.

Nevada Lucky Division Adult Kickball
The spring season of adult kickball is scheduled to begin on April 7.
Games will take place at Desert Breeze Park on Wednesday nights.

ROCK CLIMBING
Red Rock Rendezvouz
The Red Rock Rendezvouz rock-climbing festival will be held at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area from March 19 through 21.
Red Rock Rendezvouz offers clinics for advanced and intermediate climbers on Saturday and Sunday.
Registration is $99 per person and includes two days of clinics, a Friday night opening celebration, a dinner buffet on Saturday night, demos, comps and mini-seminars by event sponsors, slideshow and movie on Friday night, a blow-out party on Saturday night, pancake breakfast on Sunday morning and service projects to assist in the environmental conservation of the Red Rock Canyon and Spring Mountain.
For an additional cost, Red Rock Rendezvouz will also offer a special “UClimb: Intro to Climbing Day” designed for less experienced climbers and those who have never attempted the difficulty levels of the Red Rock Canyon. The intro day will be held on Friday and will be hosted by UClimb, an organization designed to teach all ages how to rock climb in comfortable, small-group settings with other amateur climbers.
Red Rock Rendezvouz will also offer an intro to mountain biking clinic on Friday that will teach basic biking skills and how to read off road trails.
The climbing clinics will take place at the RRC National Conservation Area. All other festival activities will take place at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.
Event proceeds will benefit The Access Fund, a national non-profit organization dedicated to keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment. Other benefiting organizations include the American Safe Climbing Association, the American Alpine Club, Friends of Red Rocks and the Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council.

Miles for Better Smiles 5K
The UNLV School of Dental Medicine will once again host the Miles for Better Smiles 5K and 1-Mile race on March 27 at Floyd Lamb State Park.
Miles for Better Smiles, a charity organized by students of the UNLV Dental School to provide dental care for individuals and families in financial difficulty, will receive 100 percent of the proceeds to support the cause of giving free or reduced-cost dental care to people in need.

TENNIS
International Tennis Center
The newly opened $15 million indoor facility offers tennis enthusiasts a chance to play even on the hottest days of the year.
The facility offers locals court time for just $20 per person for singles and $10 per person for doubles players.
Cardio tennis is also offered at the ITC. The group activity features drills that give players or all abilities a high energy workout. The first class is free to locals.
The facility is located at the corner of Topaz and Oquendo, just a block east of Eastern.

Southwest Stallions
The youth track and field club is looking for participants to join its cross country team.
Runners should be between 11 and 18 years old.
