Top prospect considering UNLV
One of the top high school post players in the junior class included UNLV on the list of his 10 potential college choices on Wednesday.
Elijah Thomas, a five-star prospect from Lancaster, Texas, released the list via text message to EJ Holland of the Dallas Morning News’s College Sports blog.
Thomas, who has received offers from essentially every major program in the country, specified the list was in no particular order.
He also named Oklahoma State, Texas, Southern Methodist, Southern Cal, Florida, Memphis, Oregon, Illinois and Ohio State.
The 6-foot-9 Thomas is the No. 6 ranked player in his class, according to the ESPN 60. He averaged 17.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per game this season.
