Chicago basketball prospect visits UNLV, Marvin Menzies

Ben Coupet, a 6-foot 7-inch forward from Chicago, is taking an official visit to UNLV on Friday.
Because new Rebels coach Marvin Menzies had only four official visits left to hand out, including this one, that indicates a strong chance that Coupet will commit to UNLV.
Coupet confirmed the visit on his Twitter account.

Coupet, who attends Chicago’s Simeon Career Academy, is a three-star prospect, according to 247 Sports composite rankings. The site reported he has received scholarship offers from Bradley, DePaul and East Carolina.
