The UNLV women’s soccer team opens next season by playing eight of its first 10 games on the road.
Including the Mountain West schedule, the Rebels will play just seven times at home, tied with 1998 as the fewest in a season.
“The 2013 schedule is a challenging one highlighted by our non-conference road games at UC Irvine, Washington State and Colorado,” UNLV coach Michael Coll said. “Combined with a very demanding schedule of games in an improved Mountain West conference, we expect this to be an exciting year to be a part of Rebel soccer.”
UNLV opens its season Aug. 23 at UC Riverside. Its first home game is against Portland State on Aug. 30 in the UNLV Nike Invitational.
The Rebels went 12-4-4 last season.
