McDonald’s is giving away free coffee for the next two weeks

Taco Bell launched its new breakfast menu this week with a pointed attack on the reigning king of breakfast, McDonald’s.

An ad shows a bunch of people named Ronald McDonald professing their love of Taco Bell’s new menu, and McDonald’s isn’t very happy about it. The chain has launched a campaign to show customers who’s really the boss of breakfast.

For two weeks starting Monday, you can get a free small cup of coffee during breakfast hours at participating locations, according to ABC 7. For its part, Taco Bell says McDonald’s’ new campaign is a sign that it feels threatened.
