Photographer Shirley Iodice’s work is scheduled to be on display through Oct. 18 at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway. Her work includes photographs from her travels in Italy, Greece, Mexico and Japan. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. HENDERSON OFFERS LOANS FOR LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS

The city of Henderson is accepting applications for its loan programs, aimed at helping residents with landscape improvements, including replacing grass with water-efficient landscaping.

The Homeownership Enrichment Landscape Program offers loans of up to $5,000, which does not need to be paid back until the home is sold.

The Turf Removal Program offers loans of up to $5,000 at 3 percent interest and amortized over a seven-year period.

COUNCILMAN TO HOST NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING

Henderson City Councilman John Marz is slated to host his Neighborhood Connection meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sept 24 at the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Drive.

Marz, who is expected to be accompanied by city employees and Mayor Andy Hafen, is scheduled to provide updates on Ward III and answer questions from residents.

HENDERSON PLANS TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

The city of Henderson’s eighth annual Senior Warm-up Open Table Tennis Tournament is set for 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 2 and 3 at the Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St.

Participation is open to players 45 or older. The fee is $12 per player.
