SATURDAY GOLF TOURNAMENT
TO BENEFIT PEOPLES AUTISM FOUNDATION

The third annual Fat Boy Golf Classic, a golf tournament benefiting the Peoples Autism Foundation, is planned for 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the Silverstone Golf Club, 8600 Cupp Drive.

The fundraiser is a four-person scramble, and teams must weigh 900 pounds or more together to qualify.

The nonprofit Peoples Autism Foundation is based in Las Vegas, providing respite and health care services to families of children with autism.

The fee is $700 per foursome, and hole or corporate sponsor rates are $375 and $500, respectively.

COUNCILMAN ROSS TO ATTEND
UPCOMING HOA MEETINGS

Ward 6 Las Vegas City Councilman Steve Ross plans to attend the Log Cabin Master Homeowners Association meeting at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17 and the Tripoly at Town Center HOA meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at 7951 Deer Springs Way, Suite 170, to field questions and concerns. ARCHERY LEAGUE SIGN-UPS BEGIN

Registration is open for a new session of the archery league this fall at the Clark County Shooting Complex, 11357 N. Decatur Blvd. The league is set to begin Sept. 5.

The fee is $15 for registration and $10 per league night. The league's inaugural session included about 60 shooters, officials said, exceeding expectation.

REIKI CIRCLE TO MEET FRIDAY

The Northwest Reiki Circle is set to meet from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Chiropractic for Life, 7455 W. Azure Drive, Suite 120.

Local practitioners, led by self-proclaimed Reiki Gal Amy Barilla, are to assist with the Japanese technique of stress relief. The donation-based event is open to the public.
