Fire damages apartment complex in west valley

A fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damage at a west valley apartment complex on Saturday. The fire damaged three units and displaced eight and 10 residents of the Resort at the Lakes apartment complex at 9999 Katie Ave., near Hualapai Way and the Las Vegas Beltway.
