A 15-hour manhunt south of Reno ended peacefully with the surrender of a Washoe Valley man who authorities said had threatened a woman with a gun at Davis Creek Park.
Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies said 53-year-old Michael Paszek turned himself in to law enforcement just before 10 a.m. Monday. They said the 62-year-old woman he battered and threatened Sunday had a protective court order against him.
