Mexican musical icon Juan Gabriel has been hospitalized in Las Vegas with pneumonia, postponing three California shows this week that were part of the top-selling artist’s “Volver” tour.

Police seek those involved in northeast valley shooting

Las Vegas police investigating a shooting in the northeast valley on Thursday afternoon were unable to find those involved, according to police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer. Officers responded to the 3600 block of Cecile Avenue, near Cheyenne Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard, after receiving multiple calls of a shooting at 2:45 p.m. They found possible bullet impacts near an area apartment complex but not the injured person whom callers said fled.
