The famous downtown Las Vegas music festival is turning into a two-night affair in its first year of sole ownership by Rolling Stone.
On a Vegas weeknight, Lady Gaga’s “Jazz + Piano” show returned to Park MGM, and Flavor Flav joined Brian Newman on stage at NoMad Library.
Megan Thee Stallion, “Loud & Proud” wrestling, Las Vegas Restaurant Week and the Punk Rock Tattoo Expo top this week’s lineup.
Spots where Elvis Presley reflected and Frank Sinatra reclined are among the hidden spaces, places and items to be found in Las Vegas theaters.
There’s also a new magic-comedy show, ‘Presto!’ at Downtown Grand, and a Sixth Street Mexican spot upgrades cocktail program.
Other upcoming downtown events include a movie at Burlesque Hall of Fame and the Philharmonic’s collaboration with local musicians.
Picnic in the Alley is Sunday downtown; other events upcoming include an Oktoberfest at Llama Lot and Don McClean in concert.
Among other happenings downtown are Vegas Vegfest all day Saturday and two big concerts on Saturday night.
Other activities include the annual Bite of Las Vegas festival, concerts and Saturday night’s Market in the Alley.
Also upcoming are First Friday, with theme ‘Into the Wild,’ an ’80s music event with several bands and extended Sunday brunch hours at Makers & Finders.

Hear a historian talk about John Gotti, an author talk about a new book or take the kids to see “Captain Marvel.”
Other downtown events include Atomic Liquors’ anniversaries, movie showings and a volunteer effort to help the homeless.
