Stephen Dobrev went 3-0 in singles play Wednesday to lead the Faith Lutheran tennis team to a 10-8 victory over Las Vegas in a Mountain Region tournament match at Darling Tennis Center.
The doubles teams of Max Wolfson and Frankie Ward, and Oliver Filipovic and Franco Alvarez each went 3-0 to lead Bishop Gorman’s boys tennis team to a 12-6 home win over Foothill on Thursday afternoon.
Stephen Dobrev went 2-0 in singles to life Faith Lutheran’s boys tennis team to a 12-6 home win over Shadow Ridge on Wednesday afternoon.
Bishop Gorman, Jack Kostrinksy, Axel Botticelli and Denim Richardson all finished 3-0 in singles as Palo Verde’s boys tennis team (13-2) downed Bishop Gorman (13-2) on Wednesday afternoon.
Desert Oasis relied on strong singles play for a 13-5 victory over Faith Lutheran in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals on Tuesday afternoon.
Jonathan Lai and Marshall Nelson went 3-0 in doubles to lead the the Bonanza boys tennis team to a 10-8 home victory over Spring Valley on Tuesday.
Tanner Albright and Ojas Sali each went 3-0 in singles to help Ranchos boys tennis team to a 10-8 road win over Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon.
