Mojave’s Damon McDowell scored 18 points Friday night to lead the Rattlers to a 55-43 boys basketball victory over visiting Elko.
Darnell Washington had 22 points and 20 rebounds Saturday to help the Desert Pines boys basketball team outlast La Jolla Country Day 83-74 in two overtimes in the Under Armour Holiday Classic in San Diego.
Chris Jackson scored 13 of his 20 points in the first half Wednesday to lead Mojave’s boys basketball team to an 82-32 win over Rio Mesa (Calif.) in the Kiwanis Invitational in Ventura, California.
Alexander Spaight led all scorers with 25 points for Canyon Springs’ boys basketball team in a 70-66 overtime victory over host Green Valley on Friday night. took down the Gators in overtime.
