Anthony Maillaro had 23 points Friday to lead Palo Verde to a 93-89 double-overtime win over visiting Legacy.
Foothill was able to hang on for a 77-75 boys basketball victory over Timpanogos (Utah) on Saturday in the Tarkanian Classic at Bishop Gorman.
Rayshon Funches and Emmanuel Austin combined to score 22 points in the final 10 minutes as the Longhorns held on for a 68-66 win over Fairmont (California) in the Tarkanian Classic’s Eastbay Division at Faith Lutheran.
