Here’s a look at Saturday’s best times in boys swimming, based on reports from coaches:
Cody Prince won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.06 seconds and a margin of victory of .32 seconds to lead the Shadow Ridge boys swimming team to a 149-145 victory over Centennial at Pavilion on Saturday.
Tyler Edlefsen and Trajan Houston each won two individual events Saturday at Pavilion to lead Palo Verde’s boys swimming team to a 213-70 win over Faith Lutheran.
Brandon Nellis swam the 50 freestyle in 22.27 seconds to help Coronado’s swim team to a 176-136 winover Foothill at Heritage on Saturday.
Nikita Nazarov won two events on Saturday to lead Sierra Vista’s boys swimming team to a 133-101 win over Cheyenne at Pavilion.

Keaton Ogden and Dylan Wilson finished 1-2 in the 200-yard freestyle Saturday to help the Virgin Valley boys swimming team slip past Chaparral at Multi-Generational, 112-111.

CARSON CITY — Waiting to swim the anchor leg of the boys 400-yard freestyle relay, Logan Houck had nothing to do but watch as Palo Verde teammate David Miller opened a two-second lead in the final event of the Division I state swimming and diving championships Saturday at Carson City Aquatic Facility.
Logan Houck, David Miller and Dylan Sweikert each won one individual event and swam on two victorious relay teams Saturday to help Palo Verde’s boys swimming team to a 174-120 win over Legacy at Pavilion.
