Tropicana owner Bally’s Corp. filed for a commercial demolition permit with Clark County as preparations continue to build a ballpark for the Oakland Athletics.
Meeting before the Nevada Gaming Control Board on Wednesday, operators Bally’s Corp. addressed closure times, slot machines, stained glass and employees.
The A’s are seeking up to $380 million in public money to go toward the construction of a $1.5 billion, 30,000-seat ballpark on the Tropicana site.
