Glenn Taylor had 22 points, 10 rebounds and three steals Wednesday to help host Cheyenne’s boys basketball team battle back for a 53-50 win over Las Vegas.
Clark’s Julia Reid had 10 points and 15 rebounds as the Chargers rallied for a 42-37 home win over Sierra Vista on Tuesday.
Caitlyn Covington went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, and Shelbi Denman struck out nine in a complete game to lead Shadow Ridge’s softball team to a 7-6 road win over Centennial on Tuesday.
Matthew Cox went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBIs and three runs scored, and Jay DeSoto was 3-for-3 with two RBIs to power Bonanza’s baseball team to a 17-8 nonleague victory over visiting Cimarron-Memorial on Tuesday.
Teddy Lobkowicz singled home Rhett Armstrong with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning, and Boulder City’s baseball team rallied for a 6-5 victory over visiting Desert Pines on Thursday.
Durango’s softball team scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn a 12-8 victory over visiting Bishop Gorman on Thursday.
Marisa Olmos went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Liberty’s softball team scored twice in the top of the eighth inning to rally for a 10-8 victory over host Basic on Tuesday.
