Updated data for Clark County on Wednesday provided a glimmer of hope that the local wave may have crested, but public health officials cautioned that it’s too soon to tell.

The number of new cases was the highest three-day total since the state halted weekend reporting of COVID-19 data in mid-April.
Nevada recorded 389 new cases of the disease over the preceding day, but saw its second-highest one-day increase in deaths with 32, according to state data posted Wednesday.
