Audrey Boch-Collins, a junior from Clark, defeated Madison Smith of Coronado 6-0, 6-1 in the 4A girls state championship match at Bishop Manogue to become only the second girl in state history to win three individual state championships in singles.
Coronado beat Faith Lutheran 10-5, and Palo Verde defeated Reno 11-7 on Thursday at Bishop Manogue in the Class 4A state semifinals.

Connor Mikkelson went 3-0 in singles play Thursday to lead Boulder City’s boys tennis team over visiting The Meadows in a tiebreaker, 10-9.
Vanessa Booth and Cathereine Snow each went 3-0 in singles on Thursday as Silverado’s girls tennis team edged visiting Durango, 10-8.
Bishop Gorman’s Lucas Hammond and Durango’s Averiana Mitchell each won singles state play-in matches Tuesday at Darling Tennis Center.
Faith Lutheran eked by Palo Verde via tiebreaker to advance to the Sunset Regional tournament championship.
