UNLV knocked $50 off a facilities fee to compensate for limited access to some services because of COVID-19, but some students say the discount isn’t enough.

Students began moving in Monday in preparation for fall semester, which begins Aug. 24. The university plans to offer about 80 percent of its classes in a remote format.
The majority of schools offering in-person classes starting this month are restricting visitor and parent access due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
