Don’t expect guest-starring appearances by Kermit or Fozzie Bear or Miss Piggy or other members of the Muppet family whom you already know and love. But don’t be surprised if you stumble onto a few, well, more remote branches of the Henson family tree when “Puppet Up! — Uncensored” begins a residency at The Sands Showroom at The Venetian on July 21.
You marvel at the magic trick. You dance to the killer guitar riff. You laugh at the stand-up comic’s punchline or watch in awe as the chorus line moves as one.
Barry Bostwick forever will be remembered mostly for playing a dorky, just-engaged guy who, on one dark and stormy night, knocks on a castle door and quickly finds himself in way over his head in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” He’ll be in town next weekend for the Wizard World Comic Con Las Vegas, which celebrates that movie, among other things.
